At Writers For Readers Inc, we abide by a strict no AI policy when it comes to our competitions.

This includes for brainstorming, research, and actual content generation.

All submissions will be fed through multiple AI detectors to maintain adherence to policy. Submissions found to be in violation of our policy will be disqualified.

We understand that large language models are tempting.

However, at Writers for Readers, we prohibit the use of AI in all aspects when producing an entry for our competition. This is not limited to outright content generation, and also includes any form of brainstorming, such as using AI models for inspiration.

We want your work to be YOUR WORK. Every step of the way.

Our goal is to increase adult literacy. AI has been shown to harm critical thinking, creativity, and engagement with material. Thus, accepting submissions that have utilized AI in their creation would work against our goals.
